The latest project signed by Eterno Ivica involved the entire Acoustics Division, which followed the client, step by step, through every phase of the acoustic upgrading design of the gym in question, thus offering technical support and advice dedicated to improving the quality of time spent in the facility.
The main goal was to create a safe and comfortable environment for students by improving acoustic comfort within a space of more than 550 m² in area.
Thanks to a comprehensive process, involving the preliminary phonometric measurement, the supply of certified materials and concluding with the post-intervention analysis, Eterno Ivica has responded to customer needs with innovative and customized solutions.
Sports represent a fundamental element in the growth of students, contributing to mental and physical well-being and improved quality of life. For this reason, it was essential to work on the reverberation problems in the gym, ensuring a suitable listening environment, verbal communication and sports practice.
The reverberation time, a crucial parameter for acoustic well-being, has been significantly reduced by Phonolook Solution Rectangle soundproofing panels.
The Efrem Reatto School Gym was the subject of a specific intervention that included the installation of 121 Phonolook Solution Rectangle soundproofing panels, (dimensions 1200 mm x 1200 mm, thickness 5 cm), on the ceiling, fixed by steel cables and hooks, and 69 panels, of the same model, applied to the wall. All Phonolook Solution panels comply with current regulations and have a certificate for ball impact resistance.
The support from the Eterno Ivica team continued, after the intervention, they intervened with additional phonometric measurements, which showed a substantial reduction in reverberation time, with a perceptible improvement at the sensory level as well, as illustrated in the graph below.
The result obtained fully satisfied both the client and the users of the gym, bringing significant benefits both acoustically and aesthetically. A unique solution brought in to improve the quality of experience the facility.

Phonolook Solution: the sound-absorbing panel that reduces reverberation in closed rooms
Eterno Ivica's Phonolook Solution sound-absorbing panel can be rectangular, square or round in shape; consisting of a metal frame, with a 100% polyester fiber core and seamless Trevira CS fabric covering on one side. It is the optimal panel for correcting reverberation inside very large rooms, as shown in the realization above.
It can be installed on walls or ceilings through suspended steel cables or magnets for adhered application. The Rectangle panel, like all the elements in the Phonoook Solution range features a sharp-edged profile with a 90-degree angle that lends character to its modern, clean lines.
