In Porto Viro (Rovigo) the first certified house in the territory of the Po Delta and Eterno Ivica participates in the success

The Habita project is the result of the union between two strong and recognized companies in the Veneto region and above all in the Polesano area: Zennaro Giuseppe legnami s.a.s. e Costruzioni Edilferro s.r.l. Both companies are leaders in their sector, respectively in the trade and processing of timber and in construction and share a passion to work with care and respecting the environment. Therefore, Habita is not just a brand, but a philosophy that these two companies wanted to share in order to give their customers homes where comfort, safety and respect for the environment are privileged.

The project born from the aim of comparing in the same intervention, a "dry" technology, and a "block" technology realized on site. All this is done in a very peculiar meteorological environment like the Po Delta and more precisely in the municipality of Porto Viro. The realization foresees two adjacent units, specular of 112 net square meters each, built with two distinct technologies: one in wood with X-Lam system and the other in cellular concrete. In addition, these homes are constantly monitored by probes that measure in addition to all the external weather conditions and the pitch height also the dynamic behavior of the two types of construction (starting from humidity and temperature in the insulation of the coat, load-bearing structures and internal comfort parameters).

The goal is to verify the responses and behavior of the two structural types over time. The surveys will continue for 3 years. In particular, for the wooden building, every three months direct samples are taken of material to monitor the possible formation of mold and fungi. Due to its experimental nature and the scientific value of monitoring, the project received funding in the POR - "European Regional Development Fund" 2007-2013 of the Veneto Region.

It is a real Best Practice, a realization of excellence that could trigger a flywheel effect among the operators in the sector. The building is experimental but certainly "repeatable". The systems and components used (windows, blocks, sheets, sheaths ...) are all normally available on the market. Another interesting aspect of this initiative is the network of three companies, all of the area, which was formed to develop and implement the project. In a moment of crisis like this, making synergy and association is a winning weapon to react to the drastic reduction in the demand for new constructions.

The level of comfort to be guaranteed is high. In winter the temperature must be constant of 20 ° C, in the summer of 26 ° C; the humidity must be between 40 and 60 percent; also the concentration of carbon dioxide must not exceed the limits set. The building reaches and maintains the conditions of summer and winter comfort without using the usual exchange terminals (radiators, fan coils, radiant panels, etc.). The two units are not connected to the gas network and the power supply is electric only.

Eterno Ivica participates in this highly successful project by providing supports installed through the Woodeck Floor System for paving terraces and gardens. Another goal achieved for the company that is always attentive to eco-sustainability and consumption reductions.
